Fire protection for the Royal Festival Hall
June 1st 2007

The Royal Festival Hall has just undergone a £70m, twoyear renovation programme, re-opening in June 2007.

As part of this, Advanced Fire Systems was chosen to provide full fire safety protection for both the concert hall and a new administration building.

Systems installed include five Notifier by Honeywell ID3000 alarm panels with more than 1000 detectors, together with a networkbased repeater panel and a UniNet-ID alarm reporting system providing integrated fire, security, CCTV and access control.

Also included are four large Notifier ID PPVA voice alarm racks for the public access foyer areas.
