April 1st 2007 The Fire Protection Association's Essentials of Fire Safety Management is a comprehensive guide aimed at those responsible for fire safety at work. It is designed to help businesses understand the implications of the Fire Safety Order and how to achieve compliance through effective management. Section 1 provides details on issues such as training, risk assessment, business continuity and security; Section 2 covers issues related to the building – installed fire safety systems, emergency response and means of escape.
