Key site fire risk assessments
June 1st 2009 Johnson Controls Inc (JCI), provider
of facilities management services to
the BBC for its London and Scottish
properties, has appointed Fireco to
carry out fire risk assessments for key
BBC sites in the London area
including TV, radio and recording
studios, plus admin and technical
support facilities.
As part of the fire risk assessment
process required under the
Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety)
Order 2005, Fireco will be making
recommendations to improve some
of the physical features of fire
protection and fire management
within the buildings.
Fireco assessors will also be
advising on means of escape,
evacuation and compartmentation
