Floor marking with no prep December 1st 2008 Packaging firm, Rajapack, has improved warehouse site safety with a floor marking installation by ASG Services.
After undertaking a review, Rajapack warehouse manager and health & safety officer, Paul Brotherwood approached ASG. Tony Gresty, ASG's MD, says Brotherwood's clarity of objective made working together very easy, while Brotherwood says ASG's sales team "kept us extremely well informed".
The installation is the largest of its type installed by ASG Services with no preparation of the concrete – after cleaning, the paint was applied directly to the warehouse floor.
The project consisted of 1200mm wide solid walkway covering over 100sq metres in green, and a total of 1300m of line marking, made up of pedestrian routes in green, marshalling bays, where trucks and people work, in yellow, traffic routes in red and areas prohibited by traffic are marked in blue.
Rajapack is also the first company to use ASG's rapidfit Fire Exit Panels at all fire exit doors.
