Under the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations factory owners and property operators are required to ensure that 'traffic routes are suitably indicated.'

Marking clear aisles and gangways ensures that pedestrians are kept separate from moving fork-lift trucks and other vehicular traffic.

Because much of the cost of painting a line on a factory, warehouse or distribution depot floor is tied up in labour and downtime, the more durable the line, the less frequent the need for repainting – saving time and money.

Easyline Edge launched by ROCOL in 2008 is a highly durable traffic-grade epoxy line marking system available in ten bright colours which match the RAL colours designated for traffic markings. Easyline is also said to boast unrivalled colour retention in prolonged exposure to UV light.
