A floor marking and rack labelling installation has been completed by ASG Services at Henkel Loctite Adhesives Cheshire site.

Using a two part epoxy coating applied after shot blast preparation of the floor, the ASG Services lane marking installations fulfil a number of needs.

Running across the building is a clearly marked green pedestrian walkway the optimum route, but also to segregate materials handling equipment and personnel.

The site is centred on 18 back-to-back racking aisles. These also benefit from ASG’s supply capability with individual labels assigned to the eight beam levels for the 13 000 pallet positions.

Featuring both alphanumeric and bar code identification, the durable thermal transfer labels provide a long lasting interface with the planned computerised stock management system which facilitates the use of hand held scanners if required.
