Anti-slip coating
August 1st 2007 Protecta-Kote from Formbar is a hardwearing, anti-slip protective coating for industrial and commercial environments. Using a polyurethane base and recycled tyre granules instead of traditional grit particles, it is said to be tough and resilient, yet comfortable and nonabrasive. It is water and weather resistant, flexible and resistant to acid, petrol, diesel and most chemicals. It is also said to help prevent rusting. Applied manually by brush, roller or spray gun, it chemically bonds to most clean and dry surfaces, including concrete, wood, fibreglass, metal, rubber and sound painted surfaces. It also bonds to itself. It is not necessary to mix components, so there is no inconsistency or room for error. It dries quickly and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
