Slip problem solved
December 1st 2006

Howco Whitham, a steel stockholder in Sheffield, used to suffer slippery floor surfaces, particularly near workbenches.

After examining several alternatives, the company solved the problem by laying slip-resistant Vynagrip matting, supplied by Rubber Safety Hygiene, a Plastic Extruders' distributor.

Made from PVC in a gridwelded format, Vynagrip is oil and chemical resistant and is said to be very hard wearing. The open grid format allows spills to drain and dissipate, while the deep etched top surface provides a high level of slip resistance.
