October 1st 2006 Flooring systems manufacturer, Ardex, and seamless resin floor installer, Lasercroft Flooring have provided an industrial flooring solution for Harrogate-based Food Design. As part of the fudge and toffee manufacturer's factory expansion, it was necessary to refurbish the 250m2 floor and personnel areas of the warehouse. It was essential that a level, durable floor was installed which would be able to withstand the company's heavy production equipment and stringent hygiene routines. Developed for use in food processing environments, drinks production, dairies and general heavy duty plant and traffic areas, Ardex R 80 P heavy duty polyurethane screen provided the solution. The high performance, slip-resistant resin flooring system is suitable for use in areas where a seamless, joint-free finish is required and where maximum cleanliness is vital.
