Keeps temperatures constant
June 1st 2010

To improve employee comfort at its warehouse facilities in the Netherlands, manufacturer of low-energy skylights, Ubbink has replaced three high-speed ceiling fans with just one High Volume/Low Speed Revolution Fan from Caljan-Rite-Hight. The 4.88 m diameter fan keeps the temperature consistent in an area of approx. 30 x 20 metres, even in the corners. Draughts are avoided as the air is de-stratified to keep temperatures consistent from floor to ceiling.

In addition warehouse manager, Marcel Dibbes is said to be impressed by the savings on energy costs. "The marginal effect of the high-speed fans, which was apparent only if you stood directly beneath them, didn't equate with the high energy consumption.

The investment in the Revolution Fan has proved to be really worthwile. We expect a pay-back time of just 2 years."
