New winter spreader makes early showing
September 1st 2010

Proving that it's never too early to think about winter maintenance, Broadwood has added a new spreader to the SnowEx range for 2010/11.

Taking the popular SnowEx SP- 85 spreader as a starting point, Broadwood has created the SP- 85SS; essentially an SP-85 which has been upgraded with the addition of a stainless steel frame.

All spreaders in the SnowEx range feature a no-rust polyethylene hopper, and with the addition of a stainless steel frame to combat the effect of corrosion from rock salt and other ice-melt materials, the new SP-85SS is 'virtually bulletproof'.

The hopper holds 76 litres of icemelt material and includes an additional deflector for controlled material spreading. Designed for use in the industrial sector the SP- 85SS will keep walkways, paths, small car parks and pavements icefree this coming winter.
