June 1st 2010 Racking Protection and
Management has developed its
synthetic rubber upright protector to
offer a range of
budget inserts
made to fit
within a
standard steel
column guard.
The strength
of the original
RackDefender
was through its
design around
the specific
racking profile
and, being made from synthetic
rubber, the RackDefender was able to
dissipate and absorb the various
impact energies.
The effect of combining these
strengthsis to produce a very strong
product.
In extreme cases following heavy
impact, the steel column guard cab be
distorted but the expensive upright
remains intact complete with rubber
insert. Under these circumstances, the
old steel guard can simply be
removed and replaced on the original
floor fixings – eliminating the need to
