Super silent canopies
April 1st 2005

Increasing legislation under The Noise at Work Regulations and the Environment Protection Act means generator makers must develop ways of reducing noise from standby sets.

Now, Scorpion Power Systems has launched the SuperQ Silent Canopy, an effective acoustic canopy that is said to reduce noise levels by up to 10dBA on standard acoustic canopies.

There is no enlargement of the generator’s footprint and the canopy allows easy accessibility to the generator for maintenance work to be carried out. A maintainable anti-corrosion coating is applied and the canopy withstands extreme weather conditions.
