Prepare for next winter
May 1st 2010

Broadwood has added two new spreader models to the SnowEx spreader range for next winter.

The SP-65 is the new smallest unit in the pedestrian range, beneath the popular SP-85 in size. Suitable for use by small companies the SP-65 is a walk-behind spreader with a spinner driven by the pneumatic tyres through a quality sealed gearbox.

"The last two winter's will have made many people sit up and think about their responsibilities with regard to slips and falls on their properties, and we're bringing the SP-65 in as an entry-level spreader designed to tick the box for smaller industrial users," explains Bill Browning, Broadwood's marketing manager.

Broadwood has also created the SP-85SS; essentially an SP-85 with the addition of a stainless steel frame to combat the effect of corrosion from rock salt and other ice-melt materials.
