Aiding a safe escape December 1st 2004 Kee Klamp has satisfied important safety and aesthetic criteria at the Cheltenham Stake Centre, using Keenect balustrading and handrailing.
Home to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Centre required a handrailing system to accompany a new fire escape built during a recent refurbishment project.
Keen to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act, the Church also specified installation of a small wheelchair access ramp.
The Keenect system is versatile and simple to install. It uses two parts: a handrail connector; and a post top joint. The connector is inserted into the handrail whenever a change in direction is required. Any combination of elbows can be attached to form a smooth joint and allow tight bends.
