Balustrading system gets a good report
April 1st 2007

Access at King Henry VIII School in Abergavenny is safer and easier for pupils, following the installation of a Keenect balustrading system from Kee Klamp.

Safety and improved access in line with the requirements of the DDA were primary concerns for Monmouthshire County Council which was responsible for the design and installation of a new ramp walkway leading to the school's main hall.

Alongside the ramp, the Council selected the Keenect system in a high visibility blue colour, complete with two offset handrails to provide easy use and guidance to teachers, visitors and pupils of all heights and abilities.

The system offers a smooth finish and has no visible joints, giving an aesthetically pleasing appearance. It is said to be robust enough to withstand the day-to-day rigours of school life.
