Half a century of access solutions

OCS Technical is celebrating after reaching its 50th year of access maintenance and contracting services.

Originating under the Cradle Runways brand, the company's access expertise began in 1956 when two Brockley-based engineers recognised the growing demand for access systems when cleaning the tall buildings being erected on London's bomb sites. OCS took Cradle Runways onboard in 1961.

Now, the company offers building maintenance, fall arrest and design and installation solutions.

Chris Cracknell, chief executive, says "The expertise and heritage of all the divisions within OCS is something we are very proud of and it is pleasing to see the half century of OCS Technical's access contracting and maintenance solutions."
