Plastic barriers
July 1st 2009

Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK (TMUK) has enhanced health and safety standards across its 100,000m2 site in Derby by installing a range of A-Safe plastic barrier systems throughout the site.

Previously, tow-motor vehicles, forklift trucks and pedestrians shared the same aisles, with no physical segregation and walkways identified by floor markings only. A-Safe has now installed Pedestrian Segregation barriers throughout TMUK's Avensis and Auris assembly departments to create dedicated walkways for staff, contractors and visitors.

A-Safe offers an entirely flexible solution with different sizes and types of barrier available to fit varied requirements.
