Safe access for all May 1st 2009 A recent refurbishment to Staines railway station in Surrey has seen the installation of a new pedestrian guardrailing system, created using components from Kee Safety's Kee Access range. Helping to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), the system has been fitted alongside a new access ramp at the entrance to ensure safe and easy access for all passengers using the station.
Working together with railway engineering contractor GRAMM Interlink Rail, project architects BPR and Southwest Trains, Kee Safety supplied over 100 meters of safety guardrailing alongside the newly installed ramp to ensure improved station access for travelers of all ages and abilities.
