SAVINGS AND BETTER WORK ENVIRONMENT October 1st 2004 The National Projects division of Parkersell (Lighting & Electrical) Services, has implemented complete lighting solutions for WH Smith’s Swindon distribution centre.
It has met the customer’s requirement for a lighting and electrical refurbishment scheme that improves the environment while meeting budgetary requirements.
Savings are achieved through the use of energy efficient light sources, including the latest generation T5 lamps.
Saving are also achieved through a new lighting control system with sensors that are programmed to ensure lighting in unoccupied areas is not switched on unnecessarily.
On-site electrical safety has been ensured through the replacement of all electrical distribution boards and additional earthing across most of the warehouse, giving compliance with IEE regulations. More articles from Parkersell (Lightng & Electrical) Services: |
