Optical beam detector

Smoke detector specialist Fire Fighting Enterprises is celebrating the sale of its 600 000th optical beam detector.

The company, which recently moved to larger premises to enable the expansion of its factory and testing facilities, will soon be launching a new optical beam that has been in development for two years. Neil Quinn, chief executive of Halma's fire division says it promises to be the best optical beam on the market.
