Smoke-free airport October 1st 2004 London Luton Airport has extinguished the last of its vapour trails following the opening of a dedicated Smoke Free Systems smoking suite.
The airport has closed its general smoking zones in the departure lounges and is asking passengers to use the state-of-the-art smoking suite.
The suite uses three Smoke Free Systems’ stations that replace an open smoking area. The system is said to remove 100% of air particles from the station and immediate surrounding area, ensuring that there is no smoke inhalation by non-smokers.
Mike Fenty, UK MD of Smoke Free Systems, says The system we have devised is totally smokefree and enables smokers and non-smokers to be in close proximity without passive smoking concerns. More articles from Smoke Free Systems: |
