Household cavalry protects its drums
April 1st 2006

Forth Systems, Enpac's UK master distributor, will be displaying at Safety & Health Expo a two-drum hard cover unit.

Identical units have been purchased by the Household Cavalry Regiment in Windsor.

Captain Ben Harris, quartermaster, explains "We have several Enpac 2- drum hard cover units to store used cooking oil.

Previously, oil drums were stored out in the open near to the kitchens.

Naturally the area got messy from birds and the outdoor elements, so now storing the drums in a covered unit keeps them clean, keeps the area tidy and ensures greater safety all round."

The 2-drum hard cover units, supplied to the Household Cavalry Regiment by Welconstruct Distribution, are designed to use as little space as possible and have a roll top cover. They can house two 205L drums, have an optional ramp attachment for easy loading and can be locked.

The company will also be displaying its new Mini Poly Rack at Safety & Health Expo, together with its Drum Top Workstation that helps save liquids that are routinely lost during the dispensing process by catching and redirecting them to the drum.
