Informative CD
April 1st 2005

Companies have until 1st September 2005 to ensure that their facilities are fully compliant with The Oil Storage Regulations.

Empteezy points out that the regulations apply to anyone storing oil in containers greater than 200L above ground at an industrial, commercial or institutional site.

The company’s new Environmental Awareness CD deals with the implications of not storing liquids correctly or responding to spills in a timely manner. It is expected to be of use to anyone reviewing the status of their operation, updating induction processes or supplementing training programmes.

The CD provides an overview of the potential hazards spilt or leaking liquids can cause and it is packed with everyday examples and advice.
