Instrument cabinets October 1st 2008 When Seetru,
manufacturer of relief
valves and liquid level
gauges, wanted to
install more storage
units, production
engineer Mike Marshall
approached Lista.
The company now
has three variations of
height and width of
Lista static deep
drawer cabinets at its
Bristol site, all neatly
located within the workshop
office. Included are features
such as a patented locking
system for quiet handling,
matched partitioning
materials, rounded and
recessed handles, anti-tilt
technology for safety, and
eco-friendly coating.
Marshall explains "We first
used these products to set
up our stores system over 15
years ago and they have
proven to be an
excellent quality
investment. The
cabinets are used
to store and
protect our delicate tools,
gauges and instruments
whilst also saving us
considerable space and time
in locating items. They get
constant use and have to be
reliable and robust in
construction.
The physical handling and
planning of the contents is
backed up by a computerised
location system of which we
are especially proud, and
which leaves nothing to
chance and tracks
everything all of the time." More articles from Lista (UK) Ltd: |
