Shelter for smokers
October 1st 2006

Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire has invested in a smoking shelter so that those staff who wish to smoke have a designated area that affords them protection from the elements.

The shelter complies with the 50% open section as specified by the Scottish Smoking Regulations.

After investigating the standard range of smoking shelters available from Walter Page (Safeways), it was decided that a custombuilt solution would be needed to fulfil the hotel's requirements.

A 6 by 2 by 2.1m high shelter was subsequently commissioned and installed at the hotel.
