FILTER DISPOSAL SERVICE LAUNCHED
February 1st 2005 Jasun Filtration believes that as a leading manufacturer of air filtration products, it should take responsibility for its filters from cradle to grave. Now, as part of its commitment to customers and the environment, the company is introducing a filter disposal service.
Registered to carry and dispose of waste, it has engaged a specialist team who will be responsible for the collection, recycling and, if necessary, the safe and legal disposal of filters.
Colin Hitch, director, explains “Because some types of pathogens can survive for extended periods on air filters, particularly in humid environments, disposal of contaminated filters can pose a significant hazard to maintenance personnel charged with filter replacement.
