Quick to dry hands
June 1st 2007

The Dyson Airblade was showcased at this year's Facilities Show at the NEC.

A hygienic hand dryer, it is said to be more than twice as fast as conventional hand dryers and to be energy efficient.

James Dyson explains "The Dyson Airblade creates a high speed sheet of air, which gently squeegees your hands dry. It's very quick and it's very clean." The Dyson Digital Motor produces an air stream flowing at 400mph. The unheated air is channelled through a 0.3mm gap. A sheet of air acts like an invisible windscreen wiper to wipe moisture from the hands, leaving them dry.
