Sweet smell of success February 1st 2006 Sporting facilities at Westcombe Park Rugby Club in Orpington are impressive.
However, the club was troubled by a stale smell from the trough urinal in the washroom that persisted despite a frequent flush cycle and liberal application of loose urinal blocks.
The insertion of a 50mm Sani-Sleeve system from Enviro-Fresh into the waste outlet of the urinal has eliminated odour and reduced flush frequency from 10min to 4h. The tube extends below the water level in the trap and is topped by an Enviro-Fresh cap containing a single deodorising block.
The unit is replaced every three months to maintain the efficiency of the bio enzymes. This eliminates the build up of uric salts and limescale that cause the offensive smell. Loose urinal blocks are no longer necessary. More articles from Enviro-Fresh Limited: |
