TOILET MAKER GETS INTO HOT WATER

Portable plastic toilet manufacturer, Satellite Industries, has introduced a compact hot water washing unit that can be fitted inside almost any portable toilet.

The SlimJim unit can be used with any make of sink providing it has a pump, and will provide hot water even when using 110V.

It has a self-draining copper tank that ensures it does not freeze. Available in 110 or 230v, it has 3/8 in quick connectors and the company can supply 1/2 to 3/8in reducers if necessary.

Operator protection is provided by an RCD and the unit heats water to a temperature of between 40 and 43°F. It has a a thermal cut out that operates at 56°F to prevent any possibility of the operator being scalded.

A neon indicator on the front of the unit shows that it is operating correctly.
