Waterproof lift sensors February 1st 2005 TL Jones has enhanced the ingress protection of its Microscan range of lift door protection systems to ensure that products are immune to water-induced failure.
The Microscan D series now has an IP65 rating, meaning that its transmitter and receiver units offer complete protection against entry of both dust and low pressure water jets from all directions.
The IP65 rating has been achieved through the use of a special over-moulding process for cable entries and special gaskets that secure the end caps.
The aluminium and polycarbonate extrusions ensure a high level of sealing, while still allowing ease of manufacture and assembly. More articles from TL Jones: |
