Compact stretcher
October 1st 2008

Available from Evac+Chair, the MiniStretcher is a simple manual handling solution for lifting and transferring an injured or incapacitated person into an Evac+Chair so that they may be swiftly evacuated to safety.

It is designed to be used in confined spaces, on stairs or over rough terrain.

Unlike traditional stretchers, the Mini version is designed to stay with the injured person in the Evac+Chair throughout their journey for comfort and onward travel. It is made from tough, waterproof, washable, reinforced material with a plastic board neck support.

The flexible plastic board adapts to the chair and to the injured person for comfort throughout the journey.

The Evac+Chair can be operated by one person and there is no need for great physical strength. Operation is smooth and controlled due to specially modified V-belts which work continuously to slow descent over stair nosings in proportion to the weight of the passenger.
