First-aid training
October 1st 2008

Emergency First Response is approved by the Health and Safety Executive for training in first aid for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

The company's training system is said to be simple and to have educational validity. All courses are supported by cutting-edge student and instructor materials including manuals and DVDs.

An integral part of Emergency First Response courses is training in the use of external automated defibrillators. AEDs increase a cardiac arrest victim's chances of a positive outcome and can be used by anyone appropriately trained.

The company comments that by having a member of staff trained as an Emergency first Response instructor, a workplace will have the flexibility of offering inhouse training and will no longer need to rely on outside organisations to teach first aid courses.
