Hi viz hearing protector
August 1st 2005 Peltor presents a new series of hearing protectors for use in high risk environments. In particular for professional categories like road and railway workers, construction workers, park and airport staff. The new series is called Peltor Optime Hi Viz and comes in the same yellow colour that is regularly used in the safety gear of these people. “It appears”, says Johan Rapp, assistant product manager “that the yellow signal colour encourages caution from others.” The Hi Viz series is based on the well known and proven Peltor Optime model. This means that the Hi Viz comes in three versions – from the Optime 1, that provides good attenuation while allowing good acoustic communication opportunities, to the Optime III, with extra-high attenuation making this unit the natural choice in environments with especially high noise levels.
