GrantRail was looking to improve the safety of not only its employees but of all rail travellers when they approached Safety Software (SSL).

As GrantRail’s health and safety advisor Toni Hopkinson explains “We were looking for a flexible, easy to use system that could be adapted to suit our needs.” GrantRail has been using SSL’s health and safety management system AIRSWEB since 2003. The internet-based application manages all elements of an environmental health and safety programme and, in GrantRail’s case, has been tailored to the exacting needs of an organisation operating within the railway industry.

“Before we had AIRSWEB, analysis of our E, H&S data was inaccurate and time consuming,” Toni added “AIRSWEB enables us to generate statistics at the click of a button and monitor any trends with a view to putting preventative measures in place.” The AIRSWEB system was designed and developed by SSL’s team of programmers, analysts and h&s professionals who have maintained an ongoing dialogue with GrantRail.
