PAT family expanded
December 1st 2005

Seaward Electronic has expanded its range of PrimeTest instruments to provide a ready-made solution for all portable appliance testing needs.

All testers are handheld, lightweight and battery powered. As well as verifying the safety of electrical equipment, all five instruments can test IEC mains leads and power sockets.

The entry-level PrimeTest 50 and PrimeTest 100 instruments provide fast and effective safety checking of Class I and Class II electrical equipment by non-technical personnel. A simple pushbutton operation enables tests to be carried out against pre-set pass/fail limits with a large LCD giving a clear pass or fail indication.

PrimeTest 200 and 220 are mid-level PATs for inservice testing of electrical equipment by maintenance staff, while the top-of-therange PrimeTest 300 is a high specification PAT with special operational features and internal memory for fast and effective testing by contractors, facilities managers and safety personnel.
