SIMPLE TO OPERATE SOUND LEVEL METER
August 1st 2005

Described as a precision noise measurement tool, the CR:261 Class 1 integrating sound level meter from Cirrus Research can be used for a range of applications and measurements.

It provides basic noise level parameters – sound level, Leq, Lmax, Lmin and L Peak(C) – and can be used for occupational noise measurements as well as for basic noise level testing.

The basic instrument can be upgraded to include data logging and PC download, at which point it can be used with the Deaf Defier3 software to produce graphs, reports and export data.

The data logging upgrade can be added by purchasing a license key and unlocking the instrument from the Deaf Defier3 software. The unit can also be used with Frequency Master software package to provide real time 1:1, 1:3 and Narrow Band (FFT) frequency analysis on a PC.
