Two newdosemeters

Recent introductions from Cirrus Research include the CR:110A doseBadge personal noise dosemeter and the CR:110AIS version that has both ATEX and EEx intrinsic safety approval for use in hazardous zones.

The new CR:110A is designed with the 2006 Noise at Work Regulations in mind and has an increased measurement range from 70dB(A) and True Peak as well as 1min data logging. With a new NiMH battery pack and ‘Shake to Wake’ function, it is suitable for the measurement of personal noise exposure.

A new reader unit is also available, with USB connection to a PC and new software to download and analyse noise measurement data. The doseBadge and the RC:110A reader unit are compatible with earlier versions of the doseBadge.

Specifically designed and approved for ATEX and EEx, the CR:110AIS measures just 38mm high and weighs 60g.
