A kind of magic July 1st 2009 It was said to be a truly
magical evening at this year's
International Safety Awards
banquet held at the
Grosvenor Hotel, London,
hosted by the British Safety
Council (BSC). Business
leaders and managers from
around the world were
entertained by magicians,
illusionists, singers and
dancers at an event held to
celebrate the best in health
and safety practice at work.
The award ceremony saw
over 200 of the BSC's
member organisations
presented with the coveted
International Safety Award
(ISA). The award is globally
recognised as a benchmark
for safety performance and
recognises the success of
companies with exemplary
safety standards. This year
633 companies from all over
the world won the award
including companies from
retail to construction
