Beware of imitations
August 1st 2011

Plastic Extruders has over 45 years' experience of designing, testing and making mattings for a diverse range of customers and locations.

Manufactured in the UK and USA and with ranges sold around the world, inevitably some lesser quality imitations are sold as genuine Plastex matting.

To help ensure customers know they are getting what they specified, Plastex is now embossing the trademark names on the underside of its matting products. This began with Vynagrip and has now been rolled out to include all dual layer mattings. As there will be a cross-over period while current non-embossed stocks are used in supply the chain, customers who require clarification should ask their supplier or contact info@plastex.co.uk.

It is hoped that this simple but effective measure will give customers, specifiers and endusers peace of mind that they are only supplied with the genuine matting, which has been rigorously tested to relevant international standards and enjoy the exacting quality control and safety performance for which Plastex mattings are known.
