Chartered director status
June 1st 2011

British Safety Council chief executive, Julie Nerney, has achieved chartered director status.

The certified award for directors from the private, public and third sectors is recognised as one of the highest business accolades and has now been awarded to 908 of the IoD's 45,000 members.

Julie commented: "The legal and collective responsibilities of a director are immense and it is right to have continuous assessment of our practices benchmarked against a professional code of conduct and ongoing improvement."
