Fire door code updated
August 1st 2008 The Door & Hardware
Federation has updated and
revised its Code of Practice for
Fire Resisting Metal Doorsets to
reflect changes in legislation.
The Code
provides
information
and best
practice
guidance
for
specifiers
and
approving
authorities of hinged and
pivoted fire resisting metal
doorsets. In particular it gives
help on the correct specification
of doorsets which satisfy the
requirements of the Building
Regulations and fire resisting
doorset standards.
