Networking Day
August 31st 2006

The BSIF Networking Day and Gala Dinner is firmly established as the Safety Industry event of the year and a day that should not be missed. Our aim is to provide an opportunity to network with industry colleagues and friends in an enjoyable social atmosphere.

There will be an address by one of the UK's top marketeers, Tony Ball MBE, whose theme will be 'Promoting Innovation'. A brilliant motivator, humourist and raconteur, he was the man who launched the legendary 'mini' in the swinging 60s.

The entertainment too will be different. 'An evening with Graham Jolly' is an exciting demonstration of the power of the mind. He'll predict your holiday destination (and with whom), analyse your handwriting, shatter a glass with your mental energy and make your table levitate. He's also very funny.

Central to our networking event will be competitive leisure pursuits. This year's AEARO Golf Tournament will present a serious challenge as it takes place on the Championship Arden course.

We return to the high speed Birmingham Wheels circuit for the Health and Safety Matters Grand Prix, with instruction to the organisers to throw away the cotton wool.

The Uvex Country Pursuits Experience, includes clay pigeons and archery and presents a real challenge to amateur dog-handlers who must control sheepdogs in the duck herding championship!

In addition to companies already mentioned, the BSIF thanks its sponsors: the Arco Group, CMP Information (Safety & Health Expo), Flint Insurance and Greenham.
