New Noise Regulations for entertainment industry
April 1st 2008

The same legislation that has been used to protect workers in Industry is now to be applied to the Entertainment Industry and those not taking adequate steps to assess the risks from noise and protect their workforce face prosecution and possible compensation claims.

The two year transition period given to the Entertainment Industry is now over and venue owners must act now to protect their staff from excessive noise exposure levels.

Pulsar Instruments has produced a Free Information Pack detailing the new regulations and offering simple advice and answers to the most commonly asked questions.
