Pvc-free products April 1st 2008 Moldex, producer of
respiratory and hearing
protection products, has
announced that it has
stopped using PVC in the
manufacture and packaging
of its products.
After more than two years
of development work, the
company has succeeded in
finding PVC substitutes for all
product groups and it says
that these are of equivalent
quality. There will be no
extra costs to retailers or
users.
Moldex comments that
abandoning PVC signals a
commitment towards
ecological sustainability, to
which more and more
companies have pledged
their support.
The company
manufactures products such
as dust masks, gas masks,
ear muffs and ear plugs. More articles from Moldex Metric: |
