Sypol, the workplace and eco-risk advisor, is on track to achieve its growth plans following investment from Sovereign Capital, the UK private equity Buy & Build specialist, who is committing a £20 million to the business and its ongoing development.

Sypol helps its 600-strong client base to maximise their business value by optimising performance through strategic Health, Safety and Environmental management. Operating throughout the UK and Ireland, Sypol's 50 staff support a loyal, blue-chip customer base, advising clients including Kew Gardens, Centrica and United Biscuits.

Sypol's senior management team including highly regarded industry experts: Lawrence Waterman and Karen Baxter, will remain with Sypol and the team will be further strengthened by new members; John Pettifor, chairman and Anthony Livingstone, finance director.
