Wasp plays a part in communication
October 1st 2008

Properly-written Safety Data Sheets (SDS) effectively communicate chemical hazards to most chemical industry professionals.

However, Environmental Science believes such sheets to be inappropriate for most people who actually use, ship or otherwise handle chemicals.

The company's WASP sheet is a cost-effective communications tool for REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals regulation) and for the expected GHS (Globally Harmonised System for the Classification and Labelling of Chemicals). It is designed to bridge the gap between the scientifically expressed SDS and most of the workforce.

The package also contains a full implementation of the COSHH Essentials risk assessment method introduced by the HSE.

Sheets can be produced in less than 5min and in a variety of languages.
