Waste compactors

Two Randalls Simpak 1800 static waste compactors have been installed at Coats Crafts UK in Darlington by Foreman Recycling.

They replace open top bins that needed frequent emptying, incurring transport and labour costs.

Compacting waste means less frequent collections are needed and has given Coats a 75% reduction in the associated transport cost.

The Simpak 1800 has a main control panel together with main isolator inside the rear of the machine.

Emergency stop, start, pump running and other warning indicators are on a separate panel.
