Green and clean
October 1st 2008

Due to their high dirt and high moisture absorbance and reduced maintenance Gripfit says its serviced matting systems produce 87% less carbon emissions – just 0.38t of CO2 per annum per mat, compared with 3.17t/annum for most conventional laundered mats.

Matt Anderson, MD of environmental consultancy, Green Planet Solutions, says "Gripfit is a great step forward for the matting industry. The innovative design not only helps companies to reduce their environmental impact, it will also save them money. As well as the dramatically reduced level of CO2, the reduction in cleaning requirements means less water and longer product usage too.

"Gripfit is a great example of a company that is addressing its environmental impact."
