Tiles for bare feet
April 1st 2008

Available from Plastic Extruders, Herontiles have a slip-resistant surface which makes them suitable for changing rooms, showers or other areas that encounter barefoot traffic.

The semi-flexible tile has an open grid format, with strong underside supports, which will shed and drain large quantities of water. It is said to be comfortable to walk on and, manufactured from EVA, has sanitised additives which provide anti-fungal and antibacterial protection.

The 333mm square and 15mm thick tiles are joined easily with a press-click system to provide a seamless floor covering. They will contour over rough or uneven surfaces and, where necessary, can be easily cut and shaped. Standard colours are dark blue, light blue, light grey and beige.

Herontiles complement the company's roll-format Heronrib matting. Samples are available.
